Spring Box Engineering

  • Impermeable Eye Excavation: Excavate down to the true bedrock discharge point.
  • Permeable Filter Pack: Graded gravel and geotextile fabric prevent silt intrusion.
  • Concrete Chamber: Sealed spring box with overflow, cleanout drain, and screened delivery pipe.
  • Uphill Surface Ditch: Diversion trench excavated 10m uphill to prevent contaminated surface runoff from reaching the spring eye.
